What does my quote include?
All our designs are bespoke and so we cannot guarantee that all of our cakes will be exactly the same. Your quote will include a design service so we will not charge extra to come up with a design for you based on the brief that you have provided.
What information do you need to be able to give me a quote?
To make an enquiry we ask that you either contact us via email or Facebook message and include the date of your wedding, how many it is to serve, and a rough idea of the design so we can send you over a rough price. If you are happy to proceed we will then go into more detail about the design and provide you with a final quote.
Do you deliver?
Yes, delivery is available. We charge 50p per mile. We no longer offer the option to collect for Wedding Cakes
Do I need to pay a deposit?
To confirm your order we require a deposit which is payable via bank transfer, we cannot take on any orders without a deposit. Your deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. This is purely to cover the costs of cancellation and turning further orders away. Once your deposit has been paid this secures your slot in the diary. Final wedding payments are due two weeks before the wedding date. We will send one reminder but after that, if no payment has been received by the deadline, and we have had no contact with you, your order will be considered cancelled and the slot will be offered to another customer. We work on a first come first served basis so if we don’t receive a deposit the cake is not secured.
What happens if I need to cancel?
As your cake booking is reserved solely for you and certain components for your cake(s) may be ordered months in advance. We do not refund any deposits and if you have paid in full to secure your order, any payments you have made subsequent to your deposit are also non-refundable.
•Within 3 weeks – If you have to cancel your order for any reason, you will be liable to pay for any special order items, and for any work that has been started. In addition, if a wedding cake is cancelled within 3 weeks of the wedding date the full outstanding balance will be payable. In the unlikely event we are unable to make your cake due to illness we will try our best to get you a replacement baker. If that is not possible you will, of course, be issued with a full refund.
Can I change my order?
Yes, we can accept changes to orders for up to 45 days before collection. If you wish to change your order within the 45 days before your order is due for collection we may have turned away larger orders or started making parts that take a while to dry, therefore we can not guarantee that we will be able to drastically change your design. If you are downsizing your order from a large order to a smaller order please be aware you may loose some of your deposit if your order was occupying two spaces in the diary and we have turned away other orders on the basis that it would be a large cake that would take up more of our time.
