Get in contact! - Just send us over a message with the date of your wedding, any ideas for the style of your cake and how many you would like to cater for. Remember, not everyone at your wedding will eat the cake especially day guests that have already had a 3-course meal. We recommend catering for around 80% of your guests. Information on sizes can be found on our Pricing page!
We recommend booking 9-12 months in advance although we may be able to cater for last minute orders if we have space left!
Book your Consultation - We hold consultations a minimum of twice a month so you can come down and sample some flavours. This offers you the opportunity to view some display cakes and talk through design ideas. We will hold your date from the moment you book your slot.
We charge £10 for the consultation which if you decide to book comes off your final balance! It is helpful to bring/send any colour swatches you may have, along with your invitations and pictures of your flowers. Most of the time I will be able to give you a final price during the consultation giving you the option to put down your deposit on the day. This is usually around £100.
If you want to go away and have a think that is absolutely fine but we will no longer be able to hold the date without a deposit.
Receive your booking pack - I will then send you your booking pack in the post or via email. This will include a digitally drawn sketch of your cake, an invoice detailing payments you have made and payments that are due, the terms and conditions of your contract with Bakerman and any other important information regarding stand hire etc.
Pay your final balance - Last step is to pay your final balance. This is due a minimum of 2 weeks before the big day.
When we have received your final balance we will contact you to reconfirm all details from design to delivery and set up.
If you have hired one of our stands the security bond can only be paid via cash. You can either drop this to us or leave in an envelope at the venue. We will then hand you this envelope back when you return the stand, as long as there is no damage to the items you have hired.
